Whew!

So I basically fell off the face of the earth while wedding planning. So Here we are on May 23 leaving the church. All that planning was well worth it. We had so much fun!

something new and blue

I fell in love with these blue quartz beads at a gem show a while ago. I made a necklace with every intention of selling it.....

Until I tried it on.... I'm thinking it will be my "something blue" for my Wedding in May. I can't give them up!

thank God for great friends

My two good friends Kristina and Amanda have been working on a few model photo shoots for my new website. Kristina is an amazing photographer and Amanda is a talented dancer.

One thing that is so important about selling online is the images. Photographing jewelry can be very tricky. It can also be hard for the buyer to get a feel for the scale of a piece or how it looks on the body.

This year we will not have a tree. :( We have both been so busy-we just don't have the time!

I LOVE Christmas though, and if I had a tree this year I would want these beautiful hand blown ornaments. So Fabulous!

Hooray! Halloween is fast approaching! Here we are last year. As you can see we aren't messing around.

I'm putting everything aside this week to get ready for our 2nd Annual Massacre in the Alley. Lots to do- pumpkins to carve, treats to make, costumes to finish and an alley to decorate!

Dogs Are Cute

I'm sitting here tonight catching up on my blogs, I'm reading my friend Arielle's blog- Couch Cubicle, and she's posted a picture of her dog Jack (who is super cute) laying on her lap/laptop. I notice that her photo looks a lot like what's on my lap too. =)

In other news- there is a new puppy on the block! Here's Otter checking out the new pup Brody (so cute it's ridiculous) They are already best friends!

Brody looks just like a stuffed animal here but I swear he's a real dog.

Hooray for Halloween!

If you know me- you know how much I LOVE Halloween! It's right around the corner!!! These guys are ready!

I know it's a little early, but fall is here and I need to start planning my costume now! I'm forcing everyone I know to come to my Second Annual Halloween Party. I love it.

I LOVE Chocolate!!! At our house chocolate rules! So I think it's only natural my wedding cake should be chocolate too! Mmmmm... I love the fresh flowers- simple yet so pretty!

Workin' It!

This week I've been inspired by my good friends Chris and Arielle who workout in the morning. Today is the first day of my new workout routine! I'll have you know I was up and at 'em at 5:15am! I recently joined a new gym and have been checking out the classes they offer. This morning was a weight training class. Which made me look kinda like this:Ok maybe not quite like that, but close!

Wedding Time

Wedding planning has begun. We have set the date and it's time to get crack'n! So for the next 275 days (I know this thanks to the knot.com) this will be a wedding blog too- just kidding, I don't have that much dedication to just one thing. So here is the begining of my wedding inspiration:
